Chelsea Gardens Barber Shop
The first barbershop in Chelsea, cutting hair on W 23rd St since 1959, with a web presence working against it: no site of their own, a hijacked Google Maps listing pointing customers at a gambling site, and every competitor in the neighborhood running the same interchangeable booking-app template.
"Golden Hour", a custom one-pager designed from scratch to feel like standing in front of the shop in late afternoon: warm cream and brass, like the brick and the gold-leaf window. A pinned video hero the page glides over, the full price board with hover price-lines and a spinning barber pole, barber cards that deep-link straight into the shop's existing Setmore booking, a nine-photo collage of real cuts, and a black-glass Est. 1959 heritage panel. Under the hood: structured data down to the menu prices, ~5MB total with the video, and the rescued Maps listing now pointing at the real site.
